STARTER PACKAGE | GRANDSTAND K
STARTER PACKAGE GRANDSTAND K
– Friday, Saturday, and Sunday access
– Giant Screen views
– Thursday or Friday: Exclusive Pit Lane Walk, Guided Track Tour, Championship Trophy Photo
Grandstands H and K deliver a thrilling Formula 1 experience, offering some of the most electrifying views on the circuit. Positioned on opposite sides of the Turn 14 and 15 hairpin, these grandstands let you feel the intensity of the race from a vantage point that’s hard to beat. From Grandstand K, you’ll witness the cars hurtling down the back straight, especially from the earlier rows, where the line of sight offers a stunning, uninterrupted view of the high-speed action. The roar of the engines reverberates as the cars shift through the gears, and the energy of the race is palpable.
Meanwhile, Grandstand H puts you right in the heart of the action at one of the circuit’s most exciting corners. With unobstructed views of the track and multiple large TV screens displaying all the race drama, you'll catch every moment, with commentary available in both English and Mandarin. As cars blast past the hairpin, you'll feel the raw power and precision of Formula 1 racing, watching as drivers push their machines to the absolute limit.
Beyond the racing, both grandstands offer a prime location for fans who want the full experience. Amenities like food, drinks, fan zones, and restrooms are just a short walk away, and the proximity to General Admission areas J and L adds to the excitement. Whether you’re cheering for your favorite driver or soaking in the atmosphere, Grandstands H and K offer a front-row seat to the relentless action of the Chinese Grand Prix, where every lap is an adrenaline rush that keeps you hooked from start to finish.
STARTER PACKAGE | GRANDSTAND B
STARTER PACKAGE | GRANDSTAND B
– Friday, Saturday, and Sunday access
– Giant Screen views
– Thursday or Friday: Exclusive Pit Lane Walk, Guided Track Tour, Championship Trophy Photo
Grandstand B offers a front-row seat to one of the most thrilling sections of the circuit, located at the end of the start/finish straight. As the Formula 1 cars thunder down the straight, you'll be right in the heart of the action, watching as they brake hard into the demanding Turns 1 through 3. The speed and precision on display here are awe-inspiring as drivers push their cars to the limit, carving through the corners with unmatched skill. For those seated in the higher rows, there's an added bonus: the chance to catch a glimpse of the action unfolding in Turns 4 to 6, further down the track.
Despite its size, Grandstand B focuses its energy on sections 1 to 4, which are closest to Grandstand A. These prime seats offer unbeatable views of the track and the on-screen action. With a large trackside TV screen facing directly towards the center of the grandstand, you’ll never miss a moment of the race, whether you’re seated high or low. Every seat in Sections 1 to 4 has a clear, unobstructed view, ensuring you stay fully immersed in the racing drama.
While Grandstand B is completely uncovered, its proximity to amenities more than makes up for it. Just a short 2-3 minute walk will take you to the food stalls, refreshments, restrooms, and the fan zone behind Grandstand A, providing the perfect place to recharge between sessions and get ready for the next thrilling lap.
HERO PACKAGE | GRANDSTAND A
HERO PACKAGE | GRANDSTAND A
– Friday, Saturday, and Sunday access
– Giant Screen views
– Thursday or Friday: Exclusive Pit Lane Walk, Guided Track Tour, Championship Trophy Photo
Grandstand A, known as the Main Grandstand, offers an unparalleled view of the Shanghai International Circuit, with its strategic positioning at the heart of the action. Divided into three distinct sections, this grandstand provides a variety of perspectives, ensuring that every seat offers a unique experience.
In the left-most section of Lower Grandstand A, you’re treated to a fascinating view of the ‘lower ranked’ teams' garages and pits, the pit straight, and parts of Turn 1. It’s a perfect spot to witness the early moments of the race, as drivers push their machines to the limit right out of the gate. In the middle sections, you’ll have a sweeping view of most of the garages, the pit straight, and a choice of angles on Turn 1 or even Turn 16 in the distance; ideal for keeping an eye on key moments of the race and team strategies. The right-most section of Grandstand A offers a front-row seat to the highest-ranked teams’ garages, with a chance to see some of the top-tier FIA activities, along with a clear view of the pits, pit straight, and Turn 16 far off in the distance.
Every seat in Grandstand A provides access to large trackside TVs with live audio, so you won’t miss a single moment of the on-track drama. The lower sections of the grandstand offer a bit of warmth compared to the upper levels (perfect for those looking to escape the wind), but keep in mind that not every seat is covered, so the sun or rain could be a factor depending on where you're seated.
The real highlight of Grandstand A is its proximity to the fan zones, food stalls, restrooms, and refreshments, all just a short walk away. With everything you need right on your doorstep, this grandstand truly brings you close to all the action and the energy of the event.

Four Things to Do When You're Not Watching F1
EXPLORE THE BUND
Shanghai’s most iconic waterfront promenade is a dazzling fusion of the city’s past and present. The Bund stretches along the Huangpu River, offering breathtaking views of colonial-era architecture juxtaposed with futuristic skyscrapers. Whether you take a leisurely stroll or enjoy a river cruise, the Bund’s unique blend of old-world charm and modern energy will leave a lasting impression.
VISIT YU GARDEN
In the heart of Shanghai's historic Old City lies a tranquil oasis of lush greenery and serene ponds. Yu Garden is a masterpiece of classical Chinese garden design, with intricate pavilions, stone bridges, and delicate lotus flowers. As you wander through its peaceful pathways, you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped into a time long past, far removed from the city’s frenetic pace.
SHOP ON NANJING ROAD
Nanjing Road is a bustling retail paradise where the latest fashion trends meet Shanghai’s vibrant culture. From world-class luxury brands to quirky local shops, this is the place to indulge in everything from high-end fashion to unique street finds. Whether you’re window shopping or on a mission to buy, the electric atmosphere of Nanjing Road is an experience in itself.
EXPERIENCE XINTIANDI
Xintiandi is Shanghai’s chic dining and nightlife hub, where contemporary style meets traditional architecture. This pedestrian-only district is packed with trendy restaurants, vibrant bars, and stylish cafes housed in renovated Shikumen buildings. Whether you’re sipping cocktails in a sleek bar or enjoying dinner under the stars, Xintiandi’s cosmopolitan vibe makes it one of the city’s must-visit spots.
Weather and Climate
September in Shanghai marks the transition from summer to autumn, offering warm and generally pleasant weather, though it can still be hot and humid, especially earlier in the month. Daytime highs average around 27°C (81°F), cooling to 21°C (70°F) at night, with temperatures gradually decreasing as the month progresses. Rainfall remains significant, with 8 to 13 rainy days and about 111mm to 156mm of total rainfall, especially during peak typhoon season. Humidity levels, typically around 74-77%, decrease as the month goes on, making it feel less oppressive than the summer months. Expect about 6 hours of sunshine per day, with clearer skies becoming more frequent mid-september.
Parking Arrangements
The Shanghai circuit provides parking close by, primarily situated behind the back straight. Parking is accessible on-site for a fee without prior reservation. Past events have shown that while ample parking is available, arrival and departure can be chaotic.
Therefore, we suggest utilising public transportation, particularly the metro, when heading to the Shanghai International Circuit.
